Please enter the thrift shop down the stairs through the back door of the church. A small elevator is available upon request for those with movement or stair challenges.
The thrift shop is the parish’s primary mission work, serving as a multi-dimensional resource to those in need. Our stock consists mainly of:
- Adult and children’s clothes
- Blankets, pillow and linens
- Games, music and movies
- Household items (lamps, kitchen gear, etc)
- Children’s toys, games, and books
- Seasonal outerwear and secondhand jewelry

The thrift shop is Christ Church’s primary mission work, serving as a multi-dimensional resource to those in need. Each year the Thrift Shop makes donations to a number of local non-profits that provide important support and assistance in the Mount Washington Valley community. 2022 donations were made to fourteen local organizations, totaling $9,000: Angels & Elves, Children Unlimited, Children of Incarcerated Parents (CHIPS), Conway Area Humane Society, End 68 Hours of Hunger, Gibson Center – Meals on Wheels, Jen’s Friends, MWV Habitat for Humanity, RSVP of Carroll County, Starting Point, The Revolving Closet, Vaughan Community Services – Food Pantry, Visiting Nurse, Home Care & Hospice, Way Station and White Mountain Community Health Center. Checks were presented at the Thrift shop earlier in December.
Donations:
We appreciate it if you can leave donations with us when we are open. If you must leave donations outside the back door of the church – please make sure that weather won’t damage what you donate and try to leave items close to open hours. We ask that all donations be clean and usable.
Please Note: We do not accept TVs/electronics, large furniture, or books. Thank you for understanding!
