Anyone with a desire to learn more about being baptized, confirmed, reaffirmed, or welcomed into the body of Christ as expressed and followed in the Episcopal tradition is encouraged to speak to Richard (the minister). Anyone interested in getting married at either Christ Church in North Conway or at the summer Chapel of the Transfiguration in Bretton Woods must speak to Richard at least four months ahead of any proposed wedding date for pre-marital counseling.
Every first Sunday afternoon of the month – Music Meditation – led by Ellen Schwindt: “Live keyboard (and sometimes other instrumental) music presented with its connection to human hearts in mind, and with time for contemplation interspersed between musical offerings. Come with open ears and a listening heart. You will not be disappointed.” This is a free event. 5:00 PM in the church. Next meditation on Sunday, February 4th.
CC Trekkers – one Saturday of each month: a meditation-focused hike up one of the local region’s many nature trails with Richard and other hiking enthusiasts to celebrate creation, participate in a simple Eucharistic-type meal, get outdoors, and meditate on the splendors of the earth and our responsible stewardship of them. Location of the hike to be announced as we get closer to the date with hikes anticipated to be 3-4 hours round-trip depending on the length of the trail. Every month a different trail. A good way to join others spiritually outside of both building and Sunday morning. Very family-friendly. Please bring water bottles, a picnic, and appropriate footwear! This is a warm weather activity; but we are exploring joining with our friends and neighbors at the Lutheran Church of the Nativity for Sunday afternoon hikes – stay tuned.
